From the designer. Kayseri Ice Band is placed 9 km far away from the town middle and inside the 10,000 rectangle metres website. With the transport features like car, minibus, bus and train system; the Ice Band has the opportunity to make people life more sportive. When developing the way of the building, the regards between the ice and the air comes into the mind. Besides, by the significance of ice, climatic change in our the present world has the concern for the people. For the modifying environments, the less natural and our indifferent appears can be more aware in this way.
Ice boarding ring with an place of 2000 m² includes two surfaces which are the first floor and mezzanine floor. The complete development place is 2600 m². The nearby living room serves public features and social actions when not filled for rink use. The artificial ice ring with 30×15 m measurements is enclosed by the viewers sitting, the locker areas and the pre-school which is divided by the cup areas. The system which was brought up by stairways make a consistent spatial with the framework and provides a semi-open place. The ceiling which expands to the entry, types like a edge and includes the ceiling terrace, while the obvious framework gets to to a rectangular type shape.
